Purpose: Instructional Coach is a position focused on supporting teachers through classroom observations and feedback as well as individual and small group meetings focused on improving instructional practices.  

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Work collaboratively with administrators and other Instructional Coaches to develop and implement a clear vision for high quality instruction in all classrooms. 
• Foster the development of teacher talents as a way to accelerate learning and prepare them to be highly effective educators.
• Conduct classroom observations for the purpose of providing meaningful feedback to teachers. 
• Plan and deliver targeted professional development to staff. 
• Participate in staff related responsibilities (i.e. staff meetings, professional development)
• Support school vision of accelerating learning

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana Teaching License
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience
• Ability to engage, inspire and motivate peers toward continual improvement 

Education:

• Master's Degree Preferred, but not required
