Reading Interventionist – Eastwood Elementary

Eastwood Elementary is seeking a passionate and dedicated Reading Interventionist to support students in developing strong literacy skills. This position is ideal for a retired teacher who enjoys working with students and helping struggling readers succeed.

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana teaching license preferred but not required (retired teachers encouraged to apply)
• Knowledge and understanding of Science of Reading instructional practices
• Experience providing reading interventions and literacy support
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted reading interventions to individual students and small groups
• Utilize Science of Reading strategies to improve student literacy outcomes
• Monitor student progress and maintain intervention records
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and administrators to support student achievement
