JOB DESCRIPTION: 

The Cosmetology program provides instruction to high school students necessary to become licensed cosmetologists in Indiana as outlined by the Indiana State Cosmetology Board.   The teacher assistant will assist the instructor as needed to supervise students, assist in classroom instruction, and work with students in the lab area as they provide services to clients and practice skills.   

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess a high school diploma, postsecondary degree, or GED. 

• Have a valid Cosmetologist license for the State of Indiana. 

• Complete security check per corporation requirements.

• Obtain a substitute teacher license

• Comfortable working with high school students

 

HOURS AND PAY: 

Monday - Friday  7:30am-4:00pm working 185 calendar days.

Optional Wednesday's until 6:00pm and leave early on Friday's.

Will also consider part-time position!

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour.
