Purpose: Instructional Coach is a position focused on supporting teachers through classroom observations and feedback as well as individual and small group meetings focused on improving instructional practices.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Work collaboratively with administrators and other Instructional Coaches to develop and implement a clear vision for high quality instruction in all classrooms.
- Foster the development of teacher talents as a way to accelerate learning and prepare them to be highly effective educators.
- Conduct classroom observations for the purpose of providing meaningful feedback to teachers.
- Plan and deliver targeted professional development to staff.
- Participate in staff related responsibilities (i.e. staff meetings, professional development)
- Support school vision of accelerating learning
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana Teaching License
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience
- Ability to engage, inspire and motivate peers toward continual improvement
Education:
- Master's Degree Preferred, but not required
