Wilbur Wright Elementary School Secretary
Location: Wilbur Wright Elementary School New Castle Community School Corporation is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Elementary School Secretary to support daily school operations. This position serves as a key contact for students, families, staff, and the community while providing essential administrative and clerical support to the school office.
Provide front office and administrative support in a busy school environment
Maintain student records, attendance, and registrations using the student information system (Power School)
Assist with payroll documentation, substitute records in WillSub, and staff forms
Process purchase orders, invoices, and school financial records
Prepare correspondence, newsletters, and school communications
Assist with school events, registrations, and volunteer processing
Maintain confidentiality and provide excellent customer service
Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work independently
Professional, positive, and flexible demeanor
Must pass an expanded criminal history check
